Layer up the cold weather

The weather is getting quite cold now and thus i will be sharing some winter styling tips for looking good when ti’s too cold to deal. When fall turns into winter and multiple layers become mandatory as opposed to an option, we start to run out of cute cold weather outfits real quick.

But guess what? Just because it’s freezing out, doesn’t mean we have to collectively resign ourselves to giving up on style—it just means we all have to think a bit more creatively when getting dressed in the cold weather.

Layering is a great savior during this period and there is a reason layering is always on-trend in the winter: It’s a massively practical way to dress when it’s really cold.

Here are few tips to keep your layering style going strong through the winter. Try these to keep yourself warm and stylish.

1. A woolen kimono or a coat:

This is the essential part of your overall look and so you need to be very much careful while choosing which one to wear with what. If you are choosing a dull or neutral or subtle color layers inside then go for a bright or contrasting one, like i have paired up here a maroon woolen kimono with grey inside layer to give a contrast look to the outfit. And if you are wearing something bright inside then go for a neutral colored out-cover.

2. Winter warm tight lower cover:

This is specially for the short length clothes and makes it very easy to style fall dress in winter. Pair them with your favorite dress, underneath pants for really cold days, or layer with socks for extra creativity.

Everyone should have a simple black pair in their closet, but you can also get creative with colors, cable knit, and more. Here i have paired one with mini skirt which makes this fall outfit wearable during winters.

3. Neck scarfs:

This is to add some extra definition to the winter look and also covers the neck part if the inner layer is low-neck, thus adding extra protection from cold.

I have chosen a mustered scarf serving just the purpose of adding extra definition as the weather is not that cold.
